The NISMO Club Sport Package was subjected to the countless development tests at the Sendai Highland Raceway. At the circuit NISMO development staff joined together with development staff under Kazutoshi Mizuno, Chief Vehicle Engineer and Chief Product Specialist and the person responsible for GT-R development. Many technologies from both NISMO and Nissan were used during these tests. Each time the test GT-R’s entered the pits the driver and development teams joined in enthusiastic discussions.
The standard spec Nissan GT-R was also brought to the circuit so that the development drivers could compare the GT-R’s performance. To ensure the right specifications, accuracy and high performance NISMO and Nissan jointly held very strict testing; the result is the NISMO Club Sports Package.

The Nissan GT-R: based on racing technology. Since its introduction at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show, it has continued to earn the description ‘Super’ around the world. Winning the 2008 Super GT in Japan with a one-two finish with the NISMO works team and taking the challenge of the Tokachi 24H race for production based vehicles has enforced NISMO’s impact with the Nissan GT-R through motorsport activities.
Through these activities NISMO provides feedback for future programs or projects. NISMO’s strong partnership with Nissan has given birth to the NISMO Club Sports Package. Nissan and NISMO; the fusion of two racing technologies has opened the door to a new world for the Nissan GT-R.
